For over a decade, I have taught over thirty students a week and performed everywhere from restaurants and furniture stores to major clubs and beautiful concert halls. I started playing music as a self-taught guitarist at the age of five and later studied music formally at Berklee College of Music. However, I learned a lot about music by teaching it. By taking on students of every age, skill level, and background, my teaching methods were challenged every day, and eventually resulted in piles of lessons notes and my first method book, The Guitarist’s Palette: Volume I. I hope to share the rest of the notes that didn’t make my book with you here. I hope you enjoy Guitar Syrup whether you’re a teacher, musician, student, or parent.
